The Origin Story

It started with one good man in a Texas town.

In 1971, Jack Gordon hung his straw cowboy hat on a nail in Conroe, Texas and went to work fixing his neighbors’ air conditioners. No big crew. No fancy office. Just a handshake, a service call, and a promise that the job would be done right.

Fifty-plus years later, that same hat still hangs in the shop — and the same promise still rolls out of the driveway on every truck. Jack’s sons grew up on those service calls. His grandsons learned to use a manifold gauge before they learned to drive.

The Gordon family has been keeping Montgomery County comfortable through three generations, eight presidents, and a whole lot of Texas summers. We’re not going anywhere.

Born November 16, 1967 in Conroe, Texas, Rodger Gordon is one of the current owners of Jack Gordon & Sons Air Conditioning and a driving force behind the company’s continued success and growth. A lifelong member of the family business, Rodger began working full-time at just 18 years old, learning every aspect of the trade through hands-on experience.

Following in his father’s footsteps, founder Jack Gordon, Rodger developed a deep understanding of the HVAC industry while working side-by-side with him. That mentorship shaped his strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to quality service — values that remain the foundation of the company today.

Rodger shares ownership with his brother, Kirk Gordon, and together they have been involved in the business since they were just 10 years old. Their lifelong experience and leadership have allowed them to preserve the company’s legacy while continuing to modernize and expand its services.

Under Rodger’s leadership, Jack Gordon & Sons Air Conditioning remains a trusted, family-owned business known for its integrity, expertise, and commitment to serving the community with excellence.

Kirk Gordon

Born May 14, 1973 in Conroe, Texas, Kirk Gordon is one of the current owners of Jack Gordon & Sons Air Conditioning and a key part of the company’s continued legacy of excellence. Kirk has been dedicated to the family business from a young age, beginning his journey alongside his brother Rodger and their father, founder Jack Gordon, at just 10 years old.

At 18, Kirk became a full-time employee, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of the HVAC industry. Working side-by-side with his father and brother, he developed a strong foundation built on hard work, technical knowledge, and a commitment to providing dependable, high-quality service.

Today, Kirk shares ownership of the company with his brother Rodger Gordon. Together, they carry forward the values and reputation established by their father while continuing to grow and modernize the business. Kirk’s lifelong dedication and leadership help ensure that Jack Gordon & Sons remains a trusted, family-owned company known for integrity, reliability, and exceptional customer care.

Aaron Bonin

General Manager

Aaron Bonin has been a part of Jack Gordon & Sons Air Conditioning & Heating for most of his life, building a deep-rooted connection to the company and its legacy. Born November 2, 1973, Aaron was introduced to the trade at a young age, beginning work alongside founder Jack Gordon and his sons, Rodger and Kirk Gordon, at just 10 years old.

By the age of 18, Aaron stepped into the industry full-time, quickly developing hands-on experience and a strong work ethic. Seeking to expand his knowledge, he later transitioned into commercial and industrial HVAC work with another company. That experience gave him a broader technical understanding of large-scale systems and complex applications.

Aaron eventually returned to Jack Gordon & Sons, bringing with him valuable expertise that strengthened the company’s service capabilities. During his time with the company, he also contributed his knowledge and field experience to assist Ruud Manufacturing in the development of a new line of commercial rooftop equipment — an accomplishment that reflects both his technical skill and industry insight.

He spent many years as a dedicated service technician, earning a reputation for reliability, technical skill, and customer commitment. Today, Aaron serves as General Manager — a role he has held for the past five years — supporting Rodger and Kirk in running the business and ensuring the company continues to deliver the high level of service it has been known for since 1971.

Office Manager & Customer Relations

Dawn Dewitt has been a cornerstone of Jack Gordon & Sons A/C & Heating for over 23 years, serving as the trusted voice and steady presence behind the company’s day-to-day operations. She began her career working alongside Bonnie Gordon, wife of founder Jack Gordon, learning firsthand the values of integrity, honesty, and genuine customer care that built the company’s reputation.

Over the years, Dawn has grown far beyond the role of secretary. She manages a wide range of office responsibilities, ensuring that every customer interaction reflects the family-oriented service Jack Gordon & Sons is known for. For many customers, she’s more than just the first point of contact — she’s “the lady that answers the phone.” In fact, when she’s not there, customers often ask, “Where’s Dawn?”

Following Bonnie Gordon’s passing, Dawn naturally stepped into a role that carries not just responsibility, but legacy. Many longtime customers see her as a continuation of that same warmth and trust they once experienced with Bonnie. Through her dedication, she has upheld and carried forward the core values that define the company.

Dawn isn’t just part of the team — she’s part of the family, and a vital reason why customers continue to trust Jack Gordon & Sons year after year.

Jacob Gordon

Service Manager

Born February 17, 1993 in Conroe, Texas, Jacob Gordon has been an integral part of the family business since he began working full-time at the age of 18. As a third-generation member of the Gordon family, Jacob carries forward a strong legacy of dedication, integrity, and excellence established by his grandfather, founder Jack Gordon.

Currently serving as Service Manager, Jacob plays a vital role in the daily operations of the company. He is known for his leadership, technical knowledge, and commitment to both customer satisfaction and team success. Jacob works closely with technicians in the field, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure every job meets the company’s high standards.

He oversees the service department end-to-end — ensuring efficiency, quality workmanship, and a seamless experience for every customer. His ability to balance operations, leadership, and customer care makes him a key asset to the company.

As the grandson of founder Jack Gordon and the successor and son to Rodger Gordon, Jacob represents the future of the business. With deep roots in the company and a forward-thinking approach, he is committed to continuing the family tradition of excellence for generations to come.

Born January 23, 2000 in Conroe, Texas, Seth Gordon has been a full-time member of the family-owned HVAC business since the age of 18. His experience in the trade began much earlier — working alongside his father, Rodger Gordon, and learning firsthand from his grandfather, founder Jack Gordon, starting at just 10 years old.

As a third-generation service technician, Seth proudly serves Conroe, Spring, and Montgomery, TX with dependable air conditioning and heating services.

Known for his strong work ethic and positive attitude, Seth is committed to both customer satisfaction and team success. He consistently supports fellow technicians in the field while building lasting customer relationships through honest, reliable service.

Carrying forward a proud family legacy, Seth’s dedication, values, and drive for excellence continue to create opportunities for growth, making him a trusted and long-term asset to the team.

Born February 10, 2000 in Conroe, Texas, Naythan Gordon grew up immersed in the family HVAC business, gaining hands-on experience at a young age. He worked alongside his father, Kirk Gordon, while also learning the trade from his grandfather, founder Jack Gordon.

As part of the next generation, Naythan is committed to upholding the company’s reputation for quality air conditioning and heating services throughout Conroe and the surrounding areas.
